OCTOFL'R IN ACTION

OctoFl'r can be remotely controlled, follow pre-defined monitoring routes, or operate through an integrated AI-powered autonomous system. Specifically designed for pollution source localization, the onboard intelligence generates optimized measurement points and adapts mission strategies based on environmental observations collected during the survey.

Onboard Navigation Experience

Follow OctoFlr from its onboard camera as it navigates across aquatic environments. This field perspective shows the drone in real operating conditions, moving through the water, maintaining its route and supporting environmental monitoring missions. The onboard view helps illustrate how OctoFlr combines mobility, stability and mission execution during autonomous or operator-controlled navigation.

Field Environmental Monitoring

During field missions, OctoFlr can follow predefined routes or be operated remotely to collect water quality measurements in targeted areas. Its onboard sensors support the monitoring of key parameters such as oxygen, pH, redox potential, turbidity, conductivity, pressure and VOCs, helping identify spatial variations and potential pollution signatures.

AI Benchmarking & Simulation

FLR-X has developed a dedicated simulation and benchmarking platform to evaluate the performance of the artificial intelligence embedded in OctoFlr. Autonomous search algorithms can be tested in realistic digital environments to assess their ability to locate pollution sources efficiently. This approach makes it possible to compare strategies, measure performance and improve the reliability of autonomous missions before deployment in the field.
